Hi, I’m Avalon Sanchez, a third-generation Austinite and proud member of The Merissa Anderson Group. With deep family roots in Austin, I take pride in being part of this city’s original community. I graduated from the University of the Incarnate Word with a degree in Business Marketing, where I played collegiate softball on scholarship. Those years taught me communication, dedication, and perseverance—qualities I bring to every real estate experience. Growing up with parents in real estate gave me a true understanding of Austin’s neighborhoods and culture, and my mission is simple: to help families create lasting memories in the homes they love. My great-grandmother even made tamales for Cisco’s Bakery on 6th and Comal, and when President Lyndon B. Johnson visited Austin, he requested a few dozen to take back to the White House.

When I’m not helping clients, you’ll find me exploring new restaurants and coffee shops, staying active, cooking, or cheering on the Astros, Texans, and Longhorns. I’m passionate about giving back to the community, volunteering on mission trips with Africa New Life, and supporting local organizations like the Special Olympics and area food banks.
